Amelans secures its Lexcel Accreditation again for 2013

Amelans Solicitors are delighted to have yet again achieved the necessary high standards in business management and customer care required to retain their Law Society Lexcel accreditation.
The Lexcel practice management standard is a scheme, specifically for the legal profession, to certify that certain standards have been met following rigorous independent assessment every year in areas such as client care, case management and risk management.
A report from the Law Society’s Independent Commissioner has shown that Lexcel accredited practices have 40% fewer complaints per fee earner than unaccredited practices. Standards are not only required to be maintained but also to be improved so that a reduction in this figure will highlight the importance of this accreditation to new and existing clients.
Kerry Millward, responsible for supervising and monitoring the Lexcel process commented, “Here at Amelans we feel that it is vital to retain our Lexcel award. It demonstrates to our clients that we are committed to providing them with the best quality service and giving them peace of mind regarding their choice of solicitor. To maintain this award is no easy achievement. The whole team at Amelans works very hard towards this accreditation and maintaining this award is testament to our efforts in providing our clients with the care that they deserve.”
